Bouchon d'en Face

About the host

A cross between a bistro, a restaurant and a deli, this is Wyck’s premier culinary offering for all things French. Founded by Yves Mullenders and Gyan Vliegen, Bouchon d'en Face now can also show off a reworked bathroom interior featuring rich tile patterns by student Jules Wanten.

Design philosophy

"The smallest room in the restaurant should not stay unnoticed."- Jules Wanten

You can feel the French burgundian atmosphere when visiting restaurant Bouchon d'en Face. During my design process I was looking for a way which differs from the corporate style, but also maintains the authentic feeling. I found my answer in the classic way of decorating, as they did in the French metropolis. With clear lines and thoughtful patterns I hope guests experience the feeling of 'Retrouvailles' (the happiness of coming back).
